My final trek is an effort to capture seperate sound/video clips and edit them together to create patterns, rhythm, flow, and expectation or breaking expectation of the viewer. In gathering the material I concentrated on contrast as well as dissonance. The outcome is a final video demonstrating different aspects of sound/image continuity. A sad trip to the beach. The sound for this clip was the camera lens moving in and out. It is the same throughout only with different pitch variations. The pitch and image shifts should evoke simple yet specific thoughts.
