I think this curiosity poses some interesting follow-up discoveries. How will you find this out?...multiple recordings in multiple places? Do you have some locations determined already? Your interest in abandoned buildings seems like a meaningful start. What types of images do you feel match up well with reverb? It seems like abstract representations of places/objects would offer a totally different feel than literal and exact images from the same place of your sound recordings. OR will you begin with images and record sound later? Sometimes a rough edit of either sound or image is helpful in determining the next plan of action.
